How does the Internet figure into game development?

Big Developers like Nintendo,Sony and Sega use the
net to ask gamers what they want and when they want it with the release of the PS2 in 2000 and
the release of the DC in 1999(which unlike the Ps2 comes with a modem) the companies set a new
level in console gaming Sega tried to make the best
they could of their modem but since the hefty price of SegaNET (21.95) not many gamer's joined but that changed and the PS2 has shitty games,
these day's but hopefully that will
change (i cant wait to get z.o.e.).The Nintedo Gamecube which has both a broadband modem capability
and cable modem capability is set to release in
October and the X-Box in Fall.For More Info check out my upcoming Info on them I know that this will be hard(try getting specifacations for every
system made after 1995) but i'll try so catch ya later video gamer's and uhh remember take a
15minute break after each day of gameplay(yeah DAY Of gameplay) and uhhh ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok further
news is that i've played a few new games like Threads of Fate for PSX and
just one question why isnt a game like that on the N64 that game is
N64 material not PSX.Squaresoft didn't know what to do so they made that piece of
shit!

 Pefect Dark took a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG time to make Rare went throught several final drafts to get the current game we have today and expect PD2 for GameCube it has that Joanna is a hottie and should look like one feel to it-PD2
